A little blues, a little attitude, and absolutely no enthusiasm for going outside when you’d rather be doing literally anything else.
Created from slices of Public Domain sources, I Hate Recess explores the difficult life of a young nerd who would rather study than be forced to play baseball at recess. Spoken word set to classical piano music. It’s my own story, in a way. One of these days I’ll have to go out there and give it the old – the old try!
